Connie B. Otteson

Connie Otteson was named Idaho Writers League’s Writer of the Year for 2006 and 2009. She is a native of Idaho Falls, Idaho and has a passion for Idaho history and telling stories about local heroes. This combination caused her to stumble into writing books. No one could be more surprised or pleased to see her work in print. Connie and her husband, Dennis, raised four children in Idaho Falls and so far have twenty-one grandchildren.

Connie served as an officer on the board of Bonneville Company Daughters of Utah Pioneers for thirteen years, three years as the first secretary-treasurer for the Bonneville County Heritage Commission, and is currently state secretary of Idaho Writer's League.
